A stud
may be placed on this list when:
-
the owner is a member of both Felikat and the Sacred Birman Cat Club
- the breeder owns the accommodation
vignette
- the stud has obtained the CAC certificate
- the stud has proven that the kittens he fathered are healthy
- a copy of the pedigree is sent to the Club
- a health certificate and an IF-test are sent to the Club.
Breeders
seeking a stud for their queen are advised to contact the stud owner
well in advance to inform whether or not this specific combination of
cats is possible and which tests are required by the stud owner: as
these may vary. It is important to know the stud owners' rules e.g.:
what happens when only one kitten is born or: what to do when the queen
doesn't conceive?
